Oproma Cosmetics was founded by Mr. Pradeep Mapalagama and Mrs. Ishani Gunaratne who have more than seventeen years experiences in cosmetic field. It was launched with skin care and hair care products. Oproma Cosmetics was founded mainly to focus on Beauty Salons in Sri Lanka to become leading beauty care products in Beauty Salons of Sri Lanka.
Oproma Cosmetics is reaching to the top level in Asian market. Our outstanding results last few years reinforce that our strategy is working. Our strategic journey began in 2008 from the brand “Blooming”. Since that time we have stepped forward with confidence and better aligned our organization and infrastructure to support our new cooperate strategy. And today, we are better positioned manage our business more effectively and allocate our resources to the most promising opportunities. We are supporting Sri Lankan youth by giving job opportunities. Today we are proudly say that we are the best company who supports to Sri Lankan economy while giving only the best products to our customers. Mr. Pradeep Mapalagama has seventeen years experiences in manufacturing and marketing field and ten years experiences in Beauty care field. He has got local and foreign training in this field. At first he came to the cosmetic field as a Sales & Marketing manager. Then he has been developing his experiences and knowledge about the cosmetic field and now he is in the top level in Sri Lankan Cosmetic Market. He introduced the brand “Blooming” in 2008. Oproma Cosmetics is the developed version of the brand “Blooming”. Mr. Pradeep Mapalagama has given a big challenge to large cosmetic Companies in Sri Lanka though his journey was not an easy one.
Mrs. Ishani Gunaratne is a top Beauty Consultant in Sri Lanka. She has more than seventeen years experiences in Beauty Culture field. She is a famous beautician in Sri Lanka who has screening counseling programmers to students of beauticulture field whole over the country. She is a Director and the beauty consultant of Oproma cosmetics.
